Description:: Class 37 named after the renowned Scottish Country Dance band leader. Although an Eastfield loco she was based at Grangemouth in the Petroleum Pool and was ideally placed to rescue recalcitrant Edinburgh-Glasgow trains. I took this at Queen Street in May 1988 after assistance was rendered to a train I was travelling on which had expired at Polmont.
