Description:: In March 1997, 60532 BLUE PETER worked a Pathfinders' excursion from Birmingham to Ayr. To facilitate servicing, the train ran to Stevenston where BP was detached in the former Nobel's factory loop to run with the support coach to Ayr shed. This is the train heading through Kilwinning on the Largs Branch on what was an extremely wet day hence the poor pic quality. Behind the support coach is the former Queen of Scots, later Royal Scotsman generator coach.
