Description:: Oil Terminal,that is.On 1 April 1993 the last train ran from Grangemouth to the BP Distribution Depot in Bishopbriggs (Cadder).This is it coming through Springburn headed by 37100 and 37409 LOCH RANNOCH. This was one of the heaviest trains inter district up until the advent of the Hunterston ore and coal trains.The oil train loaded up to 1600 old tons. Grangemouth also closed as a loco and crew depot in April 1993 The Oil Depot site is now cleared but don/t know if there/s anything there now.
