- Stirling Station car park reconstruction looking south from the 'Spiky' Bridge. Wisely the kerbline next to the railway is being moved further into the car park area so that the lighting columns are behind it (even with protection bars, a few have been hit under the old layout). It also gives space for a crash barrier so another car doesn't end up on the line! From the drawings, it would appear that the trees will be removed but I presume they have to wait a few weeks until the bird nesting season is over? An access junction is to be formed from the new entrance area into the land that was used for the SDA main site compound (currently rented out hardstanding accessed beside KiwkFit), is this the site of the new 'super' signalbox to serve the Stirling, Perth and Dundee area? 19.08.22
