Description:: Unfortunately platform 16 at Waverley was not wired at the time! 318254 was working the 0705 Glasgow- Edinburgh service on 24/12/2004 and the signaller wrongly set a path to platform 16. 318254 came off the wires but managed to coast into platform 16 before coming to a halt. I arrived at 1137 and it was still there, causing a headache for the station staff and blocking in another unit behind it. I left before it was removed but was told it would be taken back to Glasgow by 318256 that was stabled in the station.
