Description:: Work has been completed on the refurbishment of the former Granton Gasworks station building. This view shows the north elevation and the north platform has been left in situ. As this formerly sloping site has been levelled, the ground around the platform at this side has been filled in but the platform edging can still be clearly seen. The new glazed screens allow a view straight through from north to south in sympathy with the original open design of the building allowing trains to formerly pass through here.
