- Dunblane Island Platform south end cutting back underway to enable new 25mph speed points to be fitted (current ones are 15mph) to both the existing Loop entry and for the new crossover. Ground disc signals DB49 (P.2) and DB51 (P.3) will be replaced by light weight post 2 aspect red/green signals of the same name just off where the island platform is being cleared. The Loop trackwork you can see painted white for heat refection is a catch point and I don't know if this will be replicated in the new arrangement? You may just see a brighter flash of yellow on the ground next to the stanchion in front of DB14 (P.1 starter), these are parts of a new AWS magnet. 19.05.23
