This is the traditional shunting traction at Craigentinny, but may soon be replaced by the Niteq 5000-U shunter first noted at the wheel lathe on this same day. I understand that both types are to be evaluated for comparison. I've been looking to photograph 08480 for some time now, since it hauled a railtour I was on around Eastleigh works in the year 2000. I never imagined I'd eventually capture it here at Craigentinny!
