Description:: On arrival today from Darlington etc just after 1pm the Midland Pullman had to wait at the station throat while a couple of staff (NR & LSL) switched the points to access Platform 4 which had been inaccessible since 24th June due to an issue with the points. As you can see the track is pretty rusty from lack of use.
