Description:: It seems incredible that the ROYAL SCOTSMAN has been running for 22 years now, a tribute to all concerned in managing and operating this exclusive train. This I took at Dalmuir in May 1985 when the stock was making trial and press runs to the West Highland Line prior to its launch.The livery and some of the coaches were slightly different from that used today. Loco is 37111 INTERNATIONAL YOUTH YEAR.
